Kurt's family and friends were saddened by his death after a brief illness on March 1, 2010 at the age of 91. We have been heartened at the breadth and depth of support from his amazingly wide circle of friends. Thank you so much. You cannot know how much it means to us. We put together this site initially simply to allow us to communicate with each other, and share memories and photos.
As the site grew, and as more people learned of Kurt's passing and spoke with us about the role he played in their lives - and they in his - it seemed natural to open the site to a wider audience. No one is truly gone as long as they are remembered. We hope this site helps those who knew him remember him and what he stood for.
The site, like all of us, is a work in progress. It currently has (or I am working on) a guestbook, stories and anecdotes, photos, links of interest, and a list of Kurt's publications. We hope, over time, that a wide range of those whose lives intersected with our Kurt will visit and contribute to the site - and to our knowledge and connection with Kurt.
Thank you for visiting. Please feel free to contribute or to leave comments. (You will have to register and log in to add comments.)
